Vacay - Part 2

This is the view from our condo
So happy that we have a connection (Thanks Farris Family) that has an awesome place like this!!
There are 2 walls of windows to see out into the ocean! AMAZING

So cozy and beachy!

The girls slept in until 8:30 this morning...actually we all did! It was nice. You don't realize how much sitting in a car can wear you out, but it does.

Anyway, we got dressed and headed to Publix (the best grocery store ever!) and stocked up on some food for the week.

****Funny side note - we were walking into the grocery store and

Avery says "Look Daddy! There is a Jaguar!"
Ryan and I looked at what she was pointing at - a Jaguar car - and then looked at Avery and said "How did you know what kind of car that was??"
And she replied "Because I know what they look like!" Ha! Not something we've ever taught her!
I looked back at the car again and realized that it had an actual stuffed animal sitting up in the window...a Jaguar.

Whew...I'm glad to say that she can not recognize different brands of cars but she can recognize her animals! :) ****

We met everyone for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory at City Place in WPB. This was my first time there - something they had built since my last visit. City Place is really cool - lots of outdoor shops and places to eat. I hope we get a chance to go back before we leave - it started raining after we ate, so we headed out.

We drove around some places where I remember - my childhood home, my school from K-12 grade, a pool where I had swimming lessons and old parks/playgrounds. It was so fun and really crazy how memories started coming back of things I hadn't thought about in years! There is still a lot left to explore but it was a nice glimpse of days gone by.

We got back to the condo later that evening and took a walk down by the beach for a few minutes. I'm in heaven being this close to the water. It's such a treat!

I know y'all are having fun . . . thanks for the sneek peek into your vacation days:) Childhood memories are so sweet to share with our children - ours LOVE hearing the detailed stories as I'm sure Avery does as well. Love your pictures as usual . . . hope to see you face to face and hang out in a few weeks.
