Vacay - Part 3

Today was pretty relaxing.

We slept in until about 8:30...priceless!

Then we went to the beach and pool. It looked like it was going to rain all morning but it kept blowing over. We were in the pool for  a little bit while when it started to lightly rain but for a few minutes and then it stopped. The funny thing about South Florida is that it can rain and even rain hard and the next minute it will be bright and sunny.

After playing for a few hours we were all tired. We went inside to eat some lunch and rest for a while. Avery didn't want to take a nap, so I convinced her to go down to the beach with me for a while. We played together and made lots of "sand cakes" and castles. It was such a sweet time with just her. We were really able to talk and play and hang out together. I'm so grateful we had that time. :)

Later that afternoon we got dressed and headed over to Palm Beach to meet my parents, brother and our family friends for dinner. We ate a restaurant called TooJays. It was pretty good. I had a Mediterranean Turkey Cibata with a new thing called tabouleh on it. It was FABULOUS!!

 After dinner we drove around a bit on Palm Beach and did a little late night window shopping with the girls. Nana got Avery and Riley an ice cream cone and it then we headed back home. A fun day again with a little relaxing mixed in. :)
