Sisters
My sweet baby girls I have to talk about you for a minute. I have so enjoyed hearing you both play together over the past few weeks. I've really started to notice you girls doing things together. You play barbies, dress up, doll house, color etc together and you really are getting along. Your giggles are so contagious and no matter when I hear them (even if it's during nap time) I can't get mad, I can only smile. I am so eternally grateful, to the Lord, for being blessed with you both. I pray that your relationship will grow and your bond with each other will be so strong that nothing will be able to come between you! I pray that you will be able to encourage each other in your walks with the Lord and that you will impact those around you with your joy and love for Him. May you always be able to laugh with each other until you can't breathe and may your differences be what draws you closer.
I love you Avery and Riley with all my heart! You are the joy of my life!

Goodbye Paci
My dear sweet Riley Kate, I've been putting this day off for awhile. I kept making excuses for the reason why we should hold on a little longer to your paci - traveling, holidays, etc. It's really me that didn't want to give it up because I felt so bad taking away your comfort.
BUT,
Mommy knew it was time. You are almost 2 1/2 and you have become a lot more attached to your paci in the last 4 months and it can do nothing but hinder your speech and mouth development.
SO,
We decided that we were going to take you to Build-A-Bear and put your paci inside the bear/animal that you picked. It worked out that your friends Terry & Rainey Grace were able to go with us. I was really glad they could come because you had some great moral support! And a special thanks to Ms. Shelley for taking pictures!
We followed our Build-A-Bear trip with lunch at the food court in the mall and then headed to Marbles Kids Museum for a fun afternoon. We spent about 3 hours at the museum having fun and playing. It was a great day and we are so proud of our little Riley Roo.
