Family

I just wanted to post a few pictures of my family. These were taken on our night out at Outback in Gainesville, GA, in July, to celebrate my brother's birthday. (My wonderful husband was behind the camera!)

I think I have the best family! This is me, my brother and the girls. Matt is the coolest Uncle. He loves the girls, plays with them on the floor, laughs, watches cartoons with them, buys them the latest new movies, and genuinely loves being around them. I know they are going to grow up adoring him! He's a great guy! Love you bro!

Okay, my parents totally rock! I know they always say how great it is to have grand kids and I believe them. But one of the neatest things for me, that they don't know, is seeing my parents play with my kids! I don't remember being the age my girls are now, so I don't remember how my parents were with young children. But I get a glimpse of how they must have been when I see them with the girls. It's so fun to see my dad on the floor building blocks with Riley or sitting at the coffee table and asking Avery about her dolls and her dollhouse. I love seeing my mom blowing endless bubbles and doing side walk chalk outside. I love seeing my dad pull the girls in the wagon or tirelessly push them in the swing. I'm so glad to have my parents around (even if they are a 7 hour drive away)...we get to enjoy the big moments in life with them and along the way make special little memories that we will treasure forever!
My sweet little Grandmother! Isn't she cute?? She's a tough little lady...she's been through a lot in the past few years with her vision and hearing and yet she still has a smile on her face when you see her. She's GG to the girls, who think her love of birds is so cool. Avery is always talking about GG and her birds and whenever we see anything bird related in a store, she has to point out that "GG would love that!". Precious! I love my Grandmother and not because she occasionally slips me money when I come to visit, insists on paying for our lunch every time we go to Chick-Fil-A or makes me a pound cake almost every time I come to visit...but because she is my Grandmother...a beautiful woman of God.

That's my family! Love you all!
