This post is a little late (are you surprised?). We had a B-U-S-Y weekend.
We started off on Friday night with our first Friends and Family ZIP party at the new Memorial Drive Zaxby's. We opened up from 5-9pm for people to come in and get a "test run" of the new store. It gave the staff a chance to "practice" and gave the customer's a free meal! We also had another ZIP party on Saturday from 11-3.
Here are some of Avery's friends that were able to come on Friday night. She was so excited to "show" her friends the new store and eat with them. They all had a great time!

We borrowed the above "LZ" costume from a Zaxby's in Rocky Mount for the grand opening. For some strange reason, I thought it would be super cool to dress up in it. I did! It was actually really fun and I really got to act the part and be silly. Besides the fact that my own children would not take a picture with me, much less come within 25 feet of me, other kids thought I was cool.
Sunday was Ryan's "day off" before the craziness of the store opening. So, we went to church that morning and then headed off to Atlantic Beach for the day. It was SOOOO crowded but it was super fun. It was our first trip to the beach with Mimi and Papa. I think Avery and Riley really enjoyed the extra attention and getting to play in the sand with Mimi. We enjoyed some ice cream on the way home. Riley was asleep before we could even get the ice cream in the car...no nap and an afternoon in the sun and sand will do that to you!
To finish the fun weekend with Mimi and Papa, they were able to stay for Avery's t-ball game on Tuesday night. Since our family doesn't live close enough to come to games on a regular basis - it's really special when they are in town for something fun like that. I know it meant a lot to Avery because she still talks about it. She's had Nana & Grandad and Mimi & Papa this season. What a blessed girl!

Sweetheart, I love the post and the pictures! Do not feel badly that you are a little late! You have your hands full and that is a blessing! Always enjoy reading your comments about the Tittle Times!
The pictures are adorable. I love that you dressed up in the costume. I wish I was there to see it. :)
