So, I started Weight Watchers in January of 2009 (for the 3rd time in my life maybe) and I lost 20 pounds last year as of April. I went sporadically throughout the year but really kicked it into high gear again in January of this year when I started training for a 5k with my friends Melissa and Shelley.
To be honest, I've been weighing in and "watching" what I eat but not really counting points. I've been exercising though and that's been the key for me. I feel so much better physically and mentally and it's allowed me to feel like I can eat in moderation the things I want. It's really freeing! So, I'm not really doing a Weight Watchers plan because I'm not counting points. But I'm using the scale each week as my motivator - good or bad.
Which brings me to the reason for this post. I've lost ALL my BABY WEIGHT! Finally, after 4+ years! I now weigh what I did prior to becoming pregnant with Avery. Whew! Feels pretty good! So, it's been a huge boost today...I almost didn't go weigh in. So glad I did. :)
