We started off this Father's Day with a simple little breakfast for Daddy. Ryan's all - time favorite cereal is Fruity Pebbles. So, it was an easy thing to get up and enjoy before church. The girls got a kick out of us all sitting down to enjoy cereal, we try to eat together around here but it's not usually breakfast.
After breakfast, we got ready for church and I tried to snap a couple shots of Daddy with his girls outside...well, you can see below, who was having a meltdown at that moment. (I recall the same thing occurring on Mother's Day - interesting!)

After church, we went to see Toy Story 3 at the theatre. It was really fun. Riley is a bit too young and squirmy to really sit and watch a movie, but we all had great time together. We enjoyed popcorn, gummies and snow caps (my personal favorite) - I think all the food was gone 20 minutes into the movie! haha

After the movie, we went home and put our very tired Riley Kate down for a nap. I prepared our late afternoon dinner of Ryan's favorites - Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Sweet tea and rolls (I added in some carrots for my own benefit, Yummo!) We actually ate our meal while Riley was still sleeping - we felt a little bad but we were HUNGRY!!

After dinner we broke out the yummy ice cream cake I bought at Baskin Robbins. It was so good! Avery and Daddy enjoyed it the most, I think...although, I was the one to finish it off 2 days later! ***Shhh don't tell!***
I really think Avery enjoyed spoiling her Daddy that day. She is a lot like me when it comes to things like this - she loves to give gifts, she loves the surprise factor in it all and she just enjoys some good old quality time - the best gift of all!!! Ryan got down and played "Toy Story" with her later on (before our "Baby Monster" woke up from her nap! :)
It was a sweet day and we all were happy to spend the day celebrating our wonderful Daddy! We love you Ryan! Thank you for all you do for our family - all your girls adore you!!! xoxo
