Beautiful Day

What a day! We had beautiful, beautiful day today! The girls and I woke up this morning and took our time eating breakfast, doing a few chores and then getting dressed to go to the park for lunch with some friends. Oh, it's been so long since we've enjoyed a day outside with our friends! It was so REFRESHING! I think all the kids and Mom's really benefited from some warmer, fresh air! I know I did. We got home around 1:30 and then played outside on bikes and trikes for about 1 1/2 hours! The girls found some sand at the end of the neighbors driveway and played like it was a sandbox for a while too! Fun times! We came inside and put little Roo down for a nap and Avery and I had some quiet time. She played her Leapster2 for a little over an hour - have I said lately how much I LOVE that thing??!! When nap/quiet time was over we had a snack and headed back outside and played until dinner time. It was a little cooler at that point but of course the girls couldn't care less. I'm the weanie that's always complaining! haha Daddy had to work late tonight and we missed him! Right now my little Avery is laying in bed with me. I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful day. I know there are people all over the world who are stressed, sad, lonely or hurting and to know that my day was completely worry free is something I'm trying not to take for granted! To my Great God be the Glory for my BEAUTIFUL DAY!
