I haven't blogged since Easter and a lot has happened...let's play a little catch up.

• We recently purchased a new Honda Odyssey van (color below). I have been wanting one for a while and a few things worked out for us to be able to go ahead with the purchase. I am super excited and look forward to driving it every day! I am such a van nerd...LOVE IT! haha If you know me then you know that I always spoke highly of my Kia Sorento...we never had any problems with that car! So, I am praying that the van will be just as good and we will have many safe trips in the years to come!

• Next Ryan and I went on our annual Zaxby's convention almost 2 weeks ago. This year's trip was in Bermuda. We stayed at a resort hotel in South Hampton. Bermuda was gorgeous and the weather was perfect...mid 70's during the day and mid 60's at night! It was the perfect time of year to go.

We did some super fun things like a jet ski tour

snorkeling over a shipwreck and riding in a taxi (those are always adventurous in a different country). My mother-in-law and I climbed a lighthouse and could see the entire island from the top. I got to make my own flower arrangement

and a mosaic picture frame

(this was during a spouses outing at the local Botanical Gardens). We (really just Ryan and all the other men) dressed like the natives one evening and wore Bermuda shorts with the tall socks and a blazer! Hilarious! We ate a royal dockyard and had a meal that was fit for Kings and Queens! We missed the girls like crazy but were so excited to Skype with them via our web cam. I think I called 100 times a day just to hear their voices and see their little faces. I am so thankful to be home with them again yet very glad I had a little getaway as well!

• Remember that I said we just went on a Zaxby's trip...and let me tell you that these conventions are famous for the unlimited food buffets and dessert bars! Oh, the tastes that my mouth had to endure that week! I mean it was torture, really! So, I weighed in tonight at Weight Watchers and only gained 1.4 pounds! That is really remarkable considering I ate like someone who had never seen daylight before! You would think I would have been embarrassed at all the food I would cram on my plate! No shame in my game! I ate it up...and enjoyed every minute of it! So, now it's back to the diet plan...looking forward to shedding that 1.4 pounds and then some...got to keep trucking...I've got a goal to meet!

• Last but not least we did a little car seat swapping and moved Riley out of her infant car seat into Avery's convertible seat. Avery got a new toddler seat with butterflies and dragonflies and everything is new again! I'll have to post a pic soon. They are so cute! Love my girls!
