This Easter we were able to spend time with our families in Georgia as we remembered the sacrifice that Jesus made for us all! We celebrated Easter Sunday at our parents' church in Gainesville, GA. We then went back to my parent's house and had a feast! My mom really outdoes herself when it comes to cooking and this Easter was no exception! It was delicious!
We were able to spend the afternoon laughing, talking and hanging out...some real "FT" (family time) as my father-in-law likes to put it.
As I have reflected back over the weekend, I can't stop thinking of how grateful I am. Grateful that Jesus bore my sins and sacrificed His life for mine. Grateful that He did what He promised and rose from the grave 3 days later. Grateful that He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on my behalf. Grateful that one day I will see Him face to face - my saviour and redeemer!
Happy Easter! May you all remember that Jesus is alive!
