#1 Mom

I had to give a shout out to my mom who was here helping me for 2 weeks. She left on Saturday and we really miss her! My mom was a huge help and really made my transition home with 2 kids a lot easier than I expected. I must say it's super nice to have someone who will make sure there is never any dirty clothes in your laundry basket, who loads AND empties the dishwasher, and who cleans their own room when they leave! But most of all it was just nice having someone around those first days that is sympathetic to your feelings and loving and caring! And that's my mom! She was amazing with Avery and although Avery really wanted mommy more than Nana the first week or so, my mom handled it great! So, to my mom...I love you and I am so thankful that you gave of yourself and your time to spend with our family and help us out in this very special time in our life!
