Baby #3 - 27 weeks

I had a check up last week. Everything was great. I had to do my glucose test (where they check for gestational diabetes) and I passed it. I had to drink an orange flavor drink first thing in the morning, without eating anything. It's not that it's tastes so bad but it's just not good having to chug something like that, so early in the morning. But I did get good results, so it's over with now. :)

I saw Dr. Ryan today and I didn't really have any concerns or questions so my appointment lasted all of 5 minutes, maybe!!  He did measure my belly and I was measuring at 24 weeks. And Blake's heartbeat was in the 150's. So thankful that he and I are healthy. :)

A few days ago the girls and I looked up the information about the baby for this week. They enjoy watching or having me read the stats on what the baby is doing at each stage. At around 27 weeks they said that babies start to hear and make out sounds. It says to talk and sing to your baby on a regular basis. Oh, they loved that! Tonight at bed time, I was laying in the bed with them and the baby was moving. They both had their hands on my belly trying to be patient and wait for their brother to move. I told Avery that Blake was giving her a "high five" at one point. She really liked that! The girls both sang "You Are My Sunshine" and laughed and giggled as they felt him move. Avery kept saying that he was telling her that he was ready to come out and get a bath.

I have really enjoyed this pregnancy with the girls. They are so sweet! Most times I leave the house or kiss them goodbye, they almost always kiss my belly too. I can't wait to see them both as big sisters! Oh, the joy that my heart has for these kids of mine...so, so, so THANKFUL!!

We can't wait to meet you little Blake!
