What a difference a school year makes!

I know I will probably say this every year from now on, but boy, we sure could see a difference in Riley from September - May! Even her teachers commented on how much progress she has made and most of it being in the last 4 months! She is chatting up a storm and growing and learning!

Riley you are really starting to "POP" right out of that shell. You are such a joy to be around and your little smile just lights up a room. Daddy says that your smile is a little like the "Jokers" which I think he means to be a compliment! It just means that you smile from ear to ear!

Your end of the year party was a water theme! All the little kids brought their bathing suits and played outside splashing around in a little pool and running through a hose.

Then we went inside for yummy snack time where all your class enjoyed some treats - including cupcakes.
Riley, below is a picture of you on your last day of 2 year old preschool. You just went two days a week Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-12:00. You loved it so much! You would walk right in, find your peg with your name on it and hang up your book bag. Then you were off to the coloring table. You always went there first every day. You brought home some beautiful "works of art". You can count to 14, sing your prayer, recognize your name, recognize and say your colors and lots more. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! Love you bunches sweet pea!

Ms. Nancy is AWESOME! Tanner had her for a couple of weeks last year. I know Riley loved her as well!

Sweet Riley . . . I love that grin and those pig tails! I really noticed how much she was talking when we were at the pool the other day. I remember talking with you last summer at the pool as you were trying to decide what to do and what would be best for her. Mama knows best and that preschool class was just the thing! I can't wait to sit and have a conversation with her:)
