Birthday Celebration #1

I have to say that I love birthday's around here. We celebrate as much as we can and we put up banners and wreaths long before the actual birthday. This year was no exception. When I took the Christmas wreath down, up went the birthday balloon wreath (I love that wreath) and Avery had her banner on her door for almost the whole month!

Nana, Grandad & Uncle Matt were in town for a few days before Avery's actual birthday so we celebrated with a birthday dinner and cake when they were here. Avery requested bbq chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, baked beans and tea for her dinner. It was a different request but she loved it. We surprised Avery with a little Toy Story theme home party and she loved it - her cake was decked out with little Toy Story figurines! Mom and I made her the strawberry cake she requested. We tried to get a pink icing color but it turned out a little more purple - it was cute though.

We enjoyed a weekend with Nana, Grandad & Uncle Matt. It was special (as always) to get to share such a sweet time with our family.
