Vacay - Part 5

Another fun day in South Florida! 

We took the girls to a zoo near my childhood home today. The Dreher Park Zoo - now called The Palm Beach Zoo was probably about 3 miles from my home. I remember going there many times while I was growing up. When we took the girls back, I barely recognized it, but yet it was familiar. Isn't that weird?? Anyway, I think going to a zoo in the beginning of August, in South Florida, was a crazy idea. But we suffered through the heat and ended up enjoying the fountain area afterward. The girls were able to cool off in the water and had fun running around like crazy. Here are a few pictures...

For lunch, we met up with Mrs. McKee. My mom and her have known each other since my brother and her son, Billy, were babies. She is a sweet lady and it was so nice to see her and spend some time with her eating at our favorite sub shop - Russo's. Oh, I've missed subs from there! It was delicious!!!
