We decided to have a movie party for Avery and some of her friends for the DVD release of Alvin & the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel. If you have been around Avery in the past few months then you've probably seen her with one of her chipmunk toys at some point. I have NEVER seen her so attached to something. It borders on obbsessive. She was leaving for school one morning and made a point to go upstairs to tell her dad to "not touch my chipmunks while I am gone". Ha!
So, we went to Best Buy and bought the DVD the day it came out and then invited some friends over later that night. We ate taco's and had ice cream and popcorn. The kids had a blast laughing and dancing. It was so fun. We should do it more often...

We had fun, too. The best part was listening and watching the kids giggle and enjoy themselves! :)
