Thanksgiving
I seriously have so many pictures from Thanksgiving that I really didn't want to bog down my blog with them all...so you can look them up on my phanfare page in the next day or two.
I just wanted to post this picture because it is of all the people that we spent our Thanksgiving with. We had a great trip to Atlanta and we were so thankful for a safe trip there and back. We enjoyed some of the best cooking (by my mom) that anyone could ever ask for! We laughed and ate with our family until we were about to bust at the seams! We were able to see some friends from NC and visit the Atlanta Aquarium with them. We were able to worship in our "home" church in Athens and see some familiar faces and old friends. Ryan had a meeting about the construction of the new Zaxby's and get some business stuff squared away.
We are thrilled that God's hands were all over us that week - from the last bag packed in the van in NC to the last piece of trash removed from it after our trip! He was there and he protected us the whole time! I think that as every year ends - the mercy God has showed us, as we travel, is the one thing we are most thankful for each year. We do a lot of driving and some flying (if my nerves will let us) and to be able to say we did it all in the saftey of God's almighty hands, is reason enough to praise His name! He has kept us safe - kept us healthy - and most importantly - gave us the chance to fellowship with the ones we love most at such a special time of year! We have so much to be thankful for and it is to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we give the honor and glory!
And now...I will happily say....
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
