First Meal

Riley had her first taste of cereal last night. Avery helped set everything up, she get her bib, spoon, bowl and bumbo seat all ready. She was really excited about helping Riley eat until... Riley started to use a sippy cup. Avery went crazy asking "can I share Riley's sippy cup" and cried and whinned about it until she got sent up to her room so we could finish our special time with Riley. I bought Riley her own cup because I didn't want Avery saying it was hers and not wanting to share with her sister. She's become a little possessive lately. The first meal went well otherwise. It wasn't as glamourous as I remembered it being with Avery. I was so excited to start cereal with Avery and when she had her first meal there wasn't an older sister throwing a fit in the background! So, she recieved all the attention back then. Riley was a tropper though. She enjoyed the new taste and texture. So, here is to a lifetime of eating...we can never go back!
