Tonight we got a little storm with some thunder and lightning. When Avery was going to bed she wanted to look out the window and watch for the lightning and listen to the thunder. I am glad that she hasn't gotten to the fearful stage of storms yet. She still thinks they are pretty cool! She was standing there and she said "Thank you church for the lightning". I corrected her and told her that God makes the lightning etc. etc. So, she then says "Thank you God for the lightning". She stood there for another minute and after she saw another lightning strike she said "Good job God!" Disclaimer: The lightning and thunder were pretty far away. I would not normally let my child stand by a window and watch lightning strikes! Just in case you were wondering!
